"How does my client's idea become a nesting plan?"

Typically, clients send their part cut requests in a variety of formats. Usually I have to modify these files, especially when beveled edges are required, which can be a bit tricky and complicated.  After receiving the job information, I print the engineering drawings so I know which components need to be nested next. After nesting, I then print out the nested drawings and pass them on to production. With Messer Cutting Systems OmniWin and OmniBevel software, optimal nesting design for beveled edge cutting is a breeze.

OMNIWIN & OMNIBEVEL SOFTWARE PERFECT PLATE UTILIZATION.

Our OmniWin software solution smoothly integrates into your workflow and automatically transfers drawing details to OmniWin via ERP Connect. Furthermore, parts can also be added, corrected, or completely redesigned via import from other CAD systems. OmniBevel is flexible software for creating beveled edges when needed. You can calculate the best plate utilization for automatic nesting or select different options for manual nesting. Finished nesting plans are digitally transferred to OmniFab. Production time lost is automatically displayed on the screen and the OmniWin software reports this nesting list to OmniFab (PDC Production Data Capture).

Your Advantages

  • Digital integration throughout the entire process makes paperwork and printing a thing of the past.
  • The software can calculate the most efficient use of remaining plate with automatic nesting.
  • Easily perform the most demanding bevel cutting tasks.
  • The use of numerous technology options.
