Manually adjusted Triple Torch Oxyfuel Bevel Unit for straight line bevels with manual gas adjustment and manual ignition. Height sensing is carried out by an electromechanical devise that rides on the plate.
The Three Position Triple Torch Oxyfuel Bevel Unit provides weld preparation edges and plate squaring in a single pass. Cutting a “V”, “Y” or “K” cross section in one pass, the manually adjusted Triple Torch Oxyfuel Unit is designed to make a straight line bevel cut. It can cut in the longitudinal (X) Axis or be used to bevel cut the ends of a plate + or – (Y) Axis manually rotating the unit +/- 90°. Height sensing is achieved by an electro-mechanical device that rides on the plate.
- Provides plate squaring and weld preparation edges.
- Bevel angles up to 45°.
- Torches may be adjusted from .375” to several inches apart using rack-able dovetail horizontal slides providing for a wide range of bevel angles that can be cut on a variety of material thicknesses.
- Height control is locked out when the electromechanical devise runs off the plate, maintaining proper height through the end of the cut.
- Capable of beveling in the X or Y axis by manually rotating the unit.
